Hello Kitty hugs
Thatsitmommy.com can’t get enough of Hello Kitty. How did we top trick or treating? By spending the day with Hello Kitty on her birthday! Obviously, we weren’t the only ones excited to attend her bash. About one thousand fans turned out to celebrate.
The day was full of HK shaped pancakes, artists, workshops and even Hello Kitty Cupcakes! Plus there were gift bags for the first 100 lucky attendants.
We were able to sit in on The Three Apples Artist workshop with artist Gary Baseman. Lucky artists were able to sketch with Gary while Hello Kitty and Gary’s character Toby modeled.
Why not take part of the exhibit home with you? Well, then make sure to stop by the gift shop. There are coin purses, bags, plush dolls, candy and some very exclusive items for you to purchase. Teagan was allowed to pick one item from the shop and she chose a white Limited Edition figurine.

There’s still time left to attend! Get there before for 4pm today to sing Happy Birthday to our favorite kitty!
The Three Apple’s exhibit runs through Saturday, Nov. 14. All events are open to the public and are free.
