Striped Raglan and Cherry Blossom
What’s in a name? I first saw Baby Eggi at Unique LA. Not only was I instantly attracted to the patterns and colors but I was drawn to the company’s name. Baby Eggi struck a personal cord. I’m part Korean but sadly do not speak the language. I do remember some words from when I was a kid. For instance, halmoni (grandmother), hak-gyo (school), yeppuda (pretty) Aigo! (my mom said this all the time – I think it’s just a sigh) and my personal favorite, eggi (baby). Eggi always stood out to me. It has a fun and playful ring to it.
Baby Eggi offers just that with playful clothing. Not only is it fun but also stylish and affordable. Both boys and girls can look slick in Baby Eggi.
Their winter sizing is 12m-4T but starting this spring their sizing will run up to size 8. Baby Eggi was created by sisters Jennifer Ahn-Newman & Julie Ahn-Kim. Jennifer and Julie combined their passion for fashion, personal and business skills and their love for helping and gave life to their dream. Mark Mahoney, a tattoo artist and parent in Hollywood, creates the designs. He adds an artsy edge to the tops. He’s inked hot celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Brooke Shields, and Johnny Depp. Their clothing has that celebrity cool but set at real prices.
Izzy and Teagan were lucky to receive samples from the Baby Eggi Fall/Winter clothing line. Check out Teagan in the Navy Striped Raglan and Izzy is modeling Cherry Blossom in Ruby Red. Both shirts are comfortable, 100% cotton and stylish. Either shirts could be dressed up with a skirt and leggings or dressed with a pair of jeans. I love that these clothes are attractive but also flexible since most of our kids are on the go.
Their Good Eggi program donates 20% of its net proceeds to partnering children’s charities: Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA) and Kids Courage Foundation.
Cecy and I love Baby Eggi and appreciate their partnerships and charitable contributions. We both own a few of their other tops and can’t wait to see their Spring 2010 line.

If I am lucky enough to win, I’ll want the grey sunflower tee (we live in the sunflower state) and the yellow butterfly dress (because it’s super cute!).
