My printer has turned into a shelf for various nick knacks and it’s collecting quite a substantial amount of dust. Ok, here’s the deal. I hate replacing ink once it’s run out. I’d rather buy a new updated photo printer since the price is somewhat comparable to replacing ink cartridges. We actually did that with our last two printers! I guess I can compare it to leasing a car. Trade it in when the lease has run out. But seriously, I’ve tried generic ink and it was awful. Plus brand name ink is pricey! Especially when you have to buy 6 cartridges. I take lots of pictures so that means lots of ink usage. Who knows – maybe I haven’t fallen in love with a printer to really give it a second chance. Printing pics at home is convenient. Although sometimes I think it’s just cheaper to upload pics to Shutterfly. I have been itching to print a bunch of recent pics of Teagan. (Sigh) What to do? You can call me silly…just one of my oddities…but for now my printer is a shelf which holds a snow globe, picture, a toad washboard instrument thingy amongst other random items. And the dust….

Hahaha! That’s funny! But I’d rethink the buying a new printer thing, better buy the cartridges. I usually print thru Snapfish when they have a great offer, and if not it’s still a great deal 9 cents a print. If you print at home it ends up being a lot more expensive with the cost of work, time, paper and cartridges! I only print the nice big pictures I want to frame in my own printer so I can control everything!!!

You know Tee. I never noticed that whenever I’m over. It’s pretty hilarious but you should’ve seen what TJ had as his side table. He had a moving box for a side table next to his side of the bed. I finally got rid of it a few months ago after 5 years. Pretty ridiculous.

haha…that is great!! Good Luck with the printer crisis. I too print from home but have been using shutterfly for prints because ink is so expensive!!

Hmm….I think I might have a printer at home too. I’ll have to clean off some shelves and see if I have one or two around somewhere!
