Yay, Teagan! So proud of you! <3 Norah and Julia were closer to three when I really broached the idea. I think b/c I waited until they were a tad older, it went smoothly. Both of them were trained in a matter of days, and I certainly didn't have any magic tricks. I keep wondering when I can train Evie, who is now 19 mos! :) Oh, the first poop on the potty is so EXCITING and celebration-worthy! Yay, Teagan! So proud of you! <3

Norah and Julia were closer to three when I really broached the idea. I think b/c I waited until they were a tad older, it went smoothly. Both of them were trained in a matter of days, and I certainly didn't have any magic tricks. I keep wondering when I can train Evie, who is now 19 mos! :)

Maybe even before he was 2. He's 4 and a half now, and still has some "#2" issues. It almost seems like if there's a battle of the wills in any respect, they just aren't ready. I feel like we prolonged the process by starting too early? Who can know? I just have to remind myself that in 3 more years, I'll be done! We are trying so hard and Adeline just doesn't want to use her potty. I am the same with the training pants and went straight to "Dora big-girl pants" . The first time Adeline wore them she sat on her potty with them on and peed :( The other night she pooped on "our potty"... High-Fives all around :) That is great.
