DVD SYNOPSIS

Travel time is fun time for your preschooler with two all new On-The-Go Packs from Barney™ and Thomas & Friends.  Each of the two DVD carrying cases includes three DVDs with enough storage to hold an additional nine DVDs per pack, providing hours of attention-holding entertainment – perfect for summer travel.  Whether in the car, on a train or flying by plane, preschoolers will be able to bring their favorite friends along for the ride!

Our thoughts: We like the carry case! Easy to transport on car rides! The three DVDs included in the BarneyOn-The-Go DVD Pack are:

• Red, Yellow and Blue! 30  minutes
• Barney’s Colorful World! Live! 69 minutes
• Happy Mad Silly Sad. 45 minutes

All videos are educational and full of entertainment. Your kids can search for primary colors along with the characters in Red, Yellow and Blue! Learn about how colorful the world can be! And don’t forget everyone needs a nap and you’ll be happier! I know mommy needs a nap. This video is available in English and Spanish. Then switch gears to a live experience in Barney’s Colorful World…Live! Sing along to favorites such as “If You’re Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands”. It’s cool to watch the families in the audience dance from their seats. Happy Mad Silly Sad is probably our favorite out of the three. I like the different paper faces that are created to show emotion. What a great craft to do with your kids. Make some paper faces and talk about emotions. Kids can act out how they’re feeling. There’s a line in one of the songs, “Can tell what you’re feeling. I can see it on your face.” That sums up feelings. We all show our emotions and we have to teach young children to talk about feelings.

Our thoughts: Hooray For Thomas! Thomas videos are always full of fun and celebration on the Island of Sodor! The DVDs are full of great lessons. Watch as Thomas wins a medal for saving the day, children get a fun ride on the tracks, Edward rescues a brass band, and more! Let the festivities begin!
