Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! YOOO!!! Ok, I admit it…we’re Yo Gabba Gabba junkies. For a family who doesn’t have cable we’ve seen tons of the Nickeloden programs. We’ve been to the live YGG concert show and Teagan has met most of the characters at in store appearances. We can’t get enough! I jumped at the chance to dance and sing along with Teagan to the new DVD release: Yo Gabba Gabba!: Clubhouse.
I feel Yo Gabba Gabba does a wonderful job at teaching fundamental lessons to kids ages 2-5. Not only is Teagan learning but also she’s encouraged to move and dance. My husband and I are familiar with and or are fans of all of the musical and non-musical guest stars. We watch the episodes as a family and it’s a party!
Here is an overview of the four episodes on the DVD Yo Gabba Gabba! Clubhouse:
Clubhouse
Brobee and Muno build a boy’s clubhouse but won’t let Foofa and Toodee play. Meanwhile DJ Lance and Plex help Foofa and Toodee build an awesome tree house where they allow everyone to play.
GUEST STARS: Erykah Badu, The Sounds, Mark Mothersbaugh
Adventure
Muno and friends go on an Indiana Jones like adventure! They travel through a jungle under Gabbaland and find the golden treasure.
GUEST STARS: The Killers, Mark Mothersbaugh
Summer
All the characters in Gabba Land use the outdoors and friends to capture the happiness of summertime. In “Bubbles”, “Summertime”, and “Jumpy Jump” all the characters have fun doing different outdoor activities. Then as all the characters have a pool party they learn to take turns on the slide in the “Wait your turn” song.
GUEST STARS: The Aquabats
Animals
Foofa loves animals and she tracks an animal to find out about it. The Gabba gang also discovers some silly animals that only could be found in Gabbaland. Foofa teaches how to care for a pet friend or plant friend and becomes queen of the animals.
GUEST STARS: Jack McBrayer, Paul Scheer, Jimmy Eat World, Mark Mothersbaugh
So far, Teagan’s favorite episode is Clubhouse. She likes the Super Music Friend Show guests the Sounds. Teagan cracks up when she sees Brobee dressed as a pirate. I crack up
when I see Muno with an enormous eye patch over his one eye! This episode explores imagination, sharing and doing your own thing! The boys build a boys only club house and the girls are left out. Teagan recently felt left out by the boys. It is sad to see your child feel excluded but I’m glad the girls in the episode were resilient and created their own cooler clubhouse. I won’t spoil it for you but let’s just say girls rule! 
Teagan also enjoys the Cool Tricks segments. She likes to watch kids perform their talents and tricks! For some reason the voices of a few of the characters sound different. Different actors? Or, maybe it’s the way the recordings were produced. And where is Biz’s Beat of The Day?
This DVD has been in regular rotation since we received it. Definitely Teagan’s new favorite. As parents we like the themes and how the lessons are explored. Yo Gabba Gabba is colorful, musical and pure fun!

By far, our favorite episode us Bugs. When Muno busts out his rap everyone in my family laughs. My 5 year old loves Plex while my 2 year old loves Brobee.
My family enjoys the songs the YGG crew sing and of course, when it’s time to “break it down”. My daughter’s favorite character is DJ Lance Rock.
My family enjoys the show because the music is decent and it captures our 2 year olds attention. It is the only show he is allowed to watch. His favorite character is Brobee, but he also really likes the oski bugs.

We love the YGG show because is it full of musical segments, music is a big part in our household. They show each child their own special talent,which is really wonderful do know. My little one loves Foofa a lot

My girls are mesmerized by YGG, I think it’s all the flashy lights and bright colors and kooky music. Their favorite character is Brobee, probably because they have a dancing Brobee doll that they love to fight over

My toddler loves Yo Gabba Gabba and, since he’s watching, my 1 year old loves it too. He loves all the songs. Its crazy how many words he’s learned just from the music on that show. I think his favorite character is Plex, but he really loves all of them. Hands down, the best YGG episode ever is the one with Jack Black… it is hillarious!

To be honest, neither of my kids has ever watched YGG…we don’t have cable. However, I’ve heard great things about the show and want to expose them to more quality childrens television that includes singing and dancing.

My 18 month old son is so in love with this show. when the show comes on he will dance to the music. We love watching him dance along. I think his favorite character his Phlex because he pays the most attention to him.

I watch this show with my two year old Grandson whenever we get the chance. They teach them so much that it is hard to pin point one thing. The singing and dancing, the exercising, shapes, colors and funny hats. He always laughs when I start dancing and sing “my name is Grandma and I like to dance”!! What a fun show. I think he likes Brobee best, at least today he did!!
