SANRIO is turning 50 this year! What a milestone for this iconic company. As a young girl, Hello Kitty and Keroppi were two of my favorite SANRIO characters. I’m excited that SANRIO is still flourishing and that my daughter can enjoy the same characters from when I was a kid!
Sintaro Tsuji founded SANRIO in Japan in the 1960′s. Tsuji’s simple dream of bringing smiles to people’s faces grew into the brand’s “small gift, big smile” philosophy. SANRIO products definitely make me smile!
SANRIO has a die-hard fan base. I witnessed that first hand when I attended Hello Kitty’s 35th birthday bash last year. I could not BELIEVE the enormous crowds of people that turned up to celebrate the famous cat’s birthday. I bet you wonder what festivities SANRIO has planned for their 50th anniversary! Well…
