My daughter is 11 and she eats, drinks, and sleeps the American doll. She wants to do more with her and get all accessories as well. None of her friends know because she said they might think she's a "baby" but every time they come over they play with her American Doll. Being a single mom you can't affor this kind of stuff. OMG! I suppose my favorite thing is the educational nature of the dolls. They not only are toys but they are toys-that-teach about cultures, history, and integrity. My daughter has always wanted an AG and I'm hoping to take her for her 7th birthday to pick one out. We love AG because they are strong girl dolls and serve as a positive role model for young girls. I just wish they had more custom options on the dolls that you could put them together yourself with eye color and hair color.
