Art review: Play-Doh Creations! Make ‘N Color Creatures

Who hasn’t heard of Play-Doh? Play-Doh has been loved by many generations of kids. I certainly remember playing with it when I was young. I love that Play-Doh constantly comes out with fresh new products! One of their newest sets is Play-Doh Creations! Make ‘N Color Creatures.

Teagan and I had a productive art lesson with this new and wild kit! The kit includes 16 reusable coloring parts, 4 wet-erase markers, a play mat and 5 two-ounce cans of Play-Doh brand modeling compound. The mat has examples of creations to use as a guideline. Create giraffes, birds, whatever your mind can imagine! We created a bird, an elephant and an unrecognizable animal. Teagan giggled when she inserted the body parts. Each creation is unique and the parts can be reused! The Play-Doh was so squishy, soft and still has the scent I remember as a child. The kit is listed at $7.99 on the Hasbro site.

$7.99 is a reasonable price for countless times of fun! This kit would make a fun craft at birthday parties or as a birthday gift. Manufacturer suggested age is 4 and up. Teagan had no problem assembling zany creatures even though she’s almost 3.

I had no idea Playdoh had these kinds of products! Very cool and good to know my barely 3 year old would have a good time with it, too. Thanks for the review.

Oh my goodness! How cool is that?!! After all these years, I can’t believe Play-Doh is still coming up with fresh new products. I’ll have to look for this in the stores.

Oh my WOW! We’ve just introduced Play Doh to our two kiddos (18 months, 33 months) and I can’t wait for them to hit the age rating for these. How cute!

Too much fun – my daughter loved playing with play-doh when she was little – That kit kind of helps stir the creative juices for little ones who aren’t sure what to create!
