I love the company Life is Good and all their products!! The original logo of Jake started as a drawing hanging on the wall of creators Bert and John Jacobs. They decided to print up 48 shirts featuring the now famous Jake and sell them at a Cambridge, Ma street fair! They were sold out by noon time! Life is Good has grown to include all kinds of apparel, dog toys, paper goods and many more items. The brothers have stuck to their roots by keeping the emphasis on simplicity, humor and humility.
I can’t wait to check out The Life is Good Festival “a celebration of music and optimism” on September 11 and 12 in Canton, MA. It is being held at the base of The Blue Hills on a scenic 40 acre farm. The event will feature three stages of diverse live music, hands on games and interactive arts activities.
100% of proceeds go to the “Life is Good Kids Foundation” that helps kids overcome life-threatening challenges such as violence, illness and extreme poverty.

Wow, that is quite the line up! Sounds like a great cause too. My FIL bought his first “Life is Good” shirt from the gift shop of a hospital after he had open heart surgery. That was the first I had heard of them, and the shirt perfectly matched his new outlook on life after almost passing away. We were all happy to see him wear it, and many more have been added over the years.
I hadn’t heard of this festival, thank you for the info. I will definitely be going – it sounds awesome and I love Life is Good products.
